1 lb package of small white beans
2 tsp salt
1 1/4 C brown sugar
1/2 tsp dry mustard
2 chicken bouillon cubes
3 nickel size pieces fresh ginger
3 slices bacon in peaces

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans overnight in large pot filled with water.
Drain & put beans in baking dish covering with fresh water about 2 inches. Add the brown sugar, dry mustard, chicken bouillon cubes & ginger pieces. Mix well & top with bacon pieces. Bake 400º for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Stir occasionally

Grandma Martha did not have a recipe for this but served it many times & Gramps Neil always loved it so much so I fix it once in awhile but added the bouillon & ginger to make it more flavorfull.
