Ingredients:  
1 quart canned figs
2 stick butter
1 cup pecans, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla flavor
2 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Pour figs into bowl, sprinkle soda over figs, let melt together. Add egg, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well. Add flour and pecans. Stir until well mixed. Pour into well buttered pan and bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool for 15 minutes then cut into squares.
