9 large ripe tomatoes
2 large onions
1 green pepper
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. salt
1 t. allspice
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. cloves
1 t. dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Chop vegetables, add sugar and cook until thickened. Add vinegar, salt, spices and boil, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Put in jars and seal in water bath for 15 min.

This recipe was taken from a handwritten copy of my mom's chili sauce recipe. It is dang good! I serve it with my pot roast or fried finger steaks.
