2/3 c sugar
2 squares bitter chocolate
2 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt

- separate the eggs
- beat yolks until fluffy
- add sugar, beat
- add chocolate, salt, and vanilla, beat
- beat egg yolks, fold them in
- put in a pretty big bowl or separate little ones
- chill before serving

I believe this is actually an Aunt Mia recipe. I haven't made it in ages, but I remember that it didn't matter too much how stiff the whites were - you will have to experiment. It would be interesting to try semi-sweet chocolate and skip the sugar.
