1/2 C. butter (1 stick)
1 C. Brown Sugar, packed
1/4 C. milk
1 3/4-2cups sifted powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan and add brown sugar. Boil over low heat, 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in milk, and bring to boil, stirring constantly.

Cool to lukewarm, gradually add powdered sugar. Beat until thick enough to spread.
If icing becomes too stiff, add a little cream or milk.......

This is good on spice, chocolate, or apple cake.
