1/2 c pear preserves
2 T sweet white wine (like Riesling)
1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh thyme or 1/2 tsp dried thyme
2 (8 oz) round Brie
1/4 c chopped walnuts
Garnishes: fresh thyme springs, walnut halves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients into a small glass bowl; set aside.

Cut each round of Brief into 6 wedges. Place wedges close together on a lightly greased baking sheet; sprinkle each found with 2 T chopped walnuts.

Bake at 450º for 4 minutes or just until cheese begins to soften in the center. Meanwhile, microwave preserves mixture on high 20 seconds or just until thoroughly heated. Using 2 spatulas, carefully remove each Brie intact from baking sheet, and immediately place on a serving platter. Spoon melted preserves over Brie. Garnish, if desired. Serve hot.
