2 1/2 c persimmon pulp
2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
3 c flour
3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp baking powder
1 qt.lowfat 2% milk (do not use evap.)
1 C nutmeats
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

Combine ingredients and bake at 345º F for 1 hour.
Size pan (9 x 13 approx.)

SAUCE: - Use on top pudding.

1 tsp baking powder
1 qt milk
1 c nutmeats
1 tsp cinnamon
Cook over medium heat in sauce pan until thickens.

This recipe is one I got from my Mother-in-law, and it is delicious.
