2 pkg. yeast
2 1/2 C. warm water
3/4 C. soft margarine
3/4 C. sugar
2 eggs "well beaten"
8 to 8 1/2 C. flour
2 1/2 tsp. salt.

Directions:
This needs refrigerated overnight. Bake 350º F -next morning for 20-25 min.
Soften yeast in warm water. Add shortening, sugar, eggs, 4 C. flour & salt. Stir, & then beat until smooth, about 3 min. Stir in remaining flour(you may want to use your hands to work in last 2 C. of flour) This will be a soft dough. Cover & let stand to rise 1 1/2 hrs. Punch down & roll it out into a rectangular shape. Cut it into six strips. Take 3 of strips & braid them; lay on a large cookie sheet. Don't use cookie sheet that you can't cut on; you will slice on a cookie sheet. Take other 3 strips & braid them. Put on same cookie sheet. Put in refrig. overnight.
