2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening into mixture of flour, baking powder and salt until fine. Add milk. Stir with a fork to make a soft dough. Turn onto lightly floured surface and knead gently 8 to 10 times. Roll to desired thickness. Cut with floured 1 3/4 " cookie cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 425º oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
