use double pie crust recipe
about 15 apples (granny smith are the best---but sometimes I use a variety of apples)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice (from a real lemon)
1/2 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. Roll out pie dough into 2 circles
2. Mix together peeled apples and spices and other ingredients
3. Pour into lower crust and fill
4. Add top crust and seal edges (or pie will flow over in
oven and it will be YUCKY to clean oven.)
5. Bake at 400 for 1/2 hour
6. Then reduce heat to 350 for another 35-40 minutes
7. Enjoy and the aroma coming from the kitchen as well as the taste.
