2 small cans beets
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
6 hard boiled eggs

Directions:
Directions:
1. Drain beets, reserving the liquid. Place beets in 1 1/2 quart jar.
2. Measure reserved beet juice; add water to make one cup liquid.
3. Combine beet liquid, vinegar, sugar and salt. Bring to boil, stirring. Pour over beets, then refrigerate tightly covered for 24 hours.
4. Next day remove beets from jar and place eggs in jar. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours.
