3 eggs (separated)
1 stick Crisco
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 can Carnation evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs; place egg whites in small bowl and egg yolks in large bowl. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Set aside. Add Crisco and sugar to egg yolks and beat until creamy. Add flour and milk. Mix well with mixer. While mixing, add enough water to get the desired consistency. (The batter should be thicker than that of pancakes.) Fold egg whites into batter and cook on hot waffle iron. Pour any unused batter into an airtight container and store in refrigerator. It will keep 2-3 days.
