Ingredients:
Dried lupini beans (2 packages)

Directions:
Place the lupini beans in a large pot, fill with water, cover, and leave to soak overnight. The next day, drain the lupinis (they should be rehydrated by this time). Refill pot with water, bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Drain. Cover with fresh cold water. Repeat this for approximately 2 weeks (minimum twice daily) until they are sweet to taste. Place beans in clean mason jars, fill with water, and store in the refrigerator. Can be stored for 4 to 6 weeks. To serve, place in dish and sprinkle with salt to taste.

Personal Notes:
During James' deployment he sampled tasty lupini beans in Malta that had been mixed with olive oil, salt and pepper just prior to serving.
