1 1/4 cups semi sweet chocolate pieces or 1-8 oz semi sweet chocolate candy bar
2 pkgs (8 oz ea.) cream cheese softened
3/4 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cream or milk
1 pkg. Double Dutch or Fudge Cake Mix
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup shortening or oil
3 eggs
2/3 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350º
Grease & lightly flour bundt or tube pan.
In small pan over low heat melt chocolate then cool.
In small bowl combine cheese, sugar, cream and melted chocolate; beat until smooth. In large bowl, combine cake mix, water, shortening & eggs.
Blend until moist. Beat as directed on package. Pour batter into pan. Sprinkle w/nuts, mound chocolate mixture around tube of pan. Mixture will touch tube, but do not spread to touch sides of pan.
Bake at 350 for 55 to 65 mins. until top springs back when touched lightly. Cool in pan for 1 hour, remove. Glaze or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
