1 lb. minced pork
1 lb. minced beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. savoury
1/4 tsp. celery pepper
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 c. water
1/2 - 3/4 c. bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in saucepan except breadcrumbs. Bring to a boil, cook over medium heat uncovered for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and add a few spoonfuls of bread crumbs. Let stand. Continue adding breadcrumbs until all fat is absorbed.
Pour into prepared pastry lined pie pan. Cover top with pastry.
Bake at 400 ºF until brown. Serve hot.
