Notes: When Amber was born, this along with the Texas Cream Pie recipe became quick family favorites. The original recipe called for it to be made in the oven in a casserole dish, but with young kids and a microwave, I quickly changed the recipe to being made in a microwave. This is a quick, easy dish that I've used several times when I've needed to take a dish to a dinner and wanted something not everyone brought. It's also great to make at home for dinner since it's quick and easy to make for a smaller crowd if you needed. Real green chilies or frozen chilies an be substituted for canned.
