1 medium head cabbage, finely shredded. ( about 6 cups.)
1/4 sliced green onion or 1 small sweet white onion chopped fine.
1/2 carrot, peeled and grated. ( to add color ).
1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing.
2 tbsp sugar.
2 tbsp vinegar.
2 tsp celery seed.
1 tsp salt.

Directions:
In serving dish, combine cabbage, onion and carrot. In a small bowl, combine all other ingredients, stirring until sugar has dissolved and ingredients are well blended. Pour mayonnaise mixture over cabbage mixture in bowl. Toss lightly to mix well. Serves 6-8.
