2 lbs ground beef formed into 8 -1/4 pound patties
Sauce:
1/2 c soy ( not kikoman)
1/2 c miso ( soy bean past)
1/2 c oyster sauce
1 c catsup
2 c brown sugar
2 T ume juice ( juice from pickled plums, prune juice or grape juice)
1 large Ume or plum
1 T ginger
1 T garlic

Directions:
Brown beef patties. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over beef patties. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Serve classic Hawaiian style with rice and macaroni salad.
