1 large chicken, cut up in small pieces
8 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt-dash of pepper
1 c. rice
1/2 c celery, chopped
1 medium onions. sliced thin
Chicken bullion to taste
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1 tsp vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Season chicken with salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and paprika. Marinate overnight to blend seasonings well.
Saute sliced onions in butter until golden, and then add chicken pieces until browned. Use medium heat so that the chicken does not burn. Add water and simmer until chicken is almost cooked.

Add rice and allow to cook about 20 minutes.
Mixture should be neither too thick nor too runny.
Serve with Portuguese bread and butter.
