1 C. maple-honey syrup
1 3/4 C. light corn syrup
2 T. butter
1 T vinegar
1/4 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1st four ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until well blended. Continue cooking until small amount of syrup forms a hard ball in very cold water. Set bowl of ice-water near the counter; Remove pan from heat add soda & vanilla. Beat quickly until it turns smooth & creamy. Pour onto buttered plate. When cool enough to handle, butter hands & pull candy until satiny & light color. Pull with another person,
into long strips, 3/4" wide,cut strips into 1" pieces. Wrap pieces in wax paper.
