1 C. corn syrup-lighter
3 C. sugar -granulated
1 C. water
3 egg whites save yolk in freezer
1/2 C. walnut meats

Directions:
Cook syrup, sugar & water until forms a soft ball when tested in cold water Use bowl of cold water. After you cook over low heat in sauce-pan; test again. Next, gradually pour over the stiffly beaten egg whites, in larger bowl. Beat until cool temperature. Add nuts last & hand stir with spoon. Pour into buttered 9 "x 9" pan.
