3 c. plain flour – sifted
˝ t baking powder
˝ t salt
4 heaping Tbsp Cocoa
1 heaping Tbsp instant coffee
˝ butter or good margarine
˝ c Crisco Shortening
3 c sugar
5 eggs
1 c milk
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and Crisco. Add sugar, then eggs (1 at a time). Dissolve coffee in milk; add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Add Vanilla.
Bake 1 ˝ hour at 350 degrees.
