1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c butter softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 c sour cream
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
4 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add sour cream and mix. Combine dry ingredients add to moist mixture in increments. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 1 hour. Roll 1/4 inch thick to cut. Bake at 350º for 8 minutes. Do not let them get brown on edges.

For a sweeter cookie you can use powdered sugar instead of flour when rolling out. Also you can try almond extract or slight lemon flavoring for the icing.
