Swiss Cheese (or your favorite cheese)
Tomatoes
Bacon

Cook the bacon: taste one or two to be certain they are good.
Slice the tomatoes: ditto
Slice the bread and create the sandwich with the tomatoes, cheese and bacon to the quantity of your appetite.
Grill on buttered pan until the bread has lightly 'browned,' the cheese is beginning to melt and your mouth is watering.

This is my favorite sandwich at Chick and Ruth's Deli on Main Street in Annapolis. It is a New York style deli, painted orange and yellow (inside). If you happen to be there for breakfast, everyone stands at 8:30 weekdays and 9:30 weekends to say the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Truly an All-American kind of place!
