1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup wine
6 Medium Delicious Apples (or Fuji)
1/2 stick Butter or Margarine (or less)
1/2 cup sugar
1tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Soak the raisins in 1/2 cup wine for 2 hours.
Peel and cut the apples into small chunks.

Cook everything except the raisins on low/medium heat for 1/2 hour.

Add raisins. Serve hot or chilled.

Serve over a block of cream cheese with crackers for an appetizer. It is a big hit at art gallery receptions. It also makes a nice side dish with ham or turkey and is excellent as a topping for ice cream. (Ice cream goes well with almost everything)
