1/2 lb. butter, softened
3 T prepared mustard
3 T poppy seeds
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion, finely diced
1/2 lb. thinly-sliced boiled ham
1/2 lb. thinly-sliced Swiss cheese
3 pkg. Pepperidge Farm party rolls or Sister Shubert rolls

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Combine butter, mustard, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, and onion. Slice all rolls, leaving them attached. Spread both sides of rolls with the butter mixture. Place 1 layer of ham and 1 layer of cheese between the rolls, cutting ham and cheese to fit as necessary.
Place on cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Rolls may be prepared in advance and refrigerated or frozen for short period of time before baking.

Ron Locke served this once for supper club and we all loved them. Fran froze trays of them and added them to her trove.They were the rage for a while and then disappeared. They are worthy of resurrecting.
