2 c. shortening or 4 sticks of butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 c flour (4 c. before sifting)
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar gradually until light & fluffy. Beat in eggs. Stir in vanilla.
Sift flour with salt (optional mix with ground nuts)
Work in flour with shortening mixture.
Pack dough in a cookie press and force onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 400º for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove from cookie sheet at one and cool.
