3 eggs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup (or more) milk
Sliced bread

Directions:

Mix first three ingredients well.

Dip slices of bread in batter till soaked. Fry in butter in heavy skillet.

Susan flatly refused to have anything to do with French toast during her entire childhood. Seems she had a bad experience with it at camp. Just goes to show that we all grow up and change eventually—although we’re not sure Matt ever learned to like vegetables.
