2/3 cup real butter

1 1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. salt

2 eggs

3 cups flour

1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together flour,salt,and baking powder in seperate bowl.
In large bowl,beat eggs,then add sugar, add butter, and vanilla.
Mix until creamy.
Add flour mixture a little at a time, until well
blended.Lightly flour prepared surface and roll
into a log. For easy cutting chill for at least 10 minutes.( Wrapping in plastic wrap or wax paper is a good idea for this)Cut tablespoon size circles from cookie dough roll.Place cookies about two inches apart onto a ungreased cookie sheet.Sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Bake in 350 º preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden around the edges.
