1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
¼ t. salt
½ lb chopped dates
3 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. Rice Krispies
Shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
In non-stick pan, melt butter over low heat. Beat eggs with sugar. Add salt, vanilla, nuts and dates. Add all to butter in skillet. Increase heat; cook until mixture pulls away from pan, stirring constantly. Cool 20 minutes; add Rice Krispies. Divide mixture into 3 portions; roll each into long roll about as big around as a half dollar. Coat rolls with coconut and refrigerate overnight, wrapped in wax paper. Cut into ½ inch thick rounds.
