2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (12 ounce) bag of chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 375º. Mix flour, soda and salt in bowl and set aside. Cream butter and sugars together. Add vanilla and eggs; mixing well. Stir in flour mixture, then add chocolate and nuts. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
