1/2 c. butter
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans (chopped walnuts would work too)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar. Take off the heat and cool for 5 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Combine dry ingredients and add. Stir in nuts. Spread in a greased 9x13” pan. Bake at 350º F for 20-25 minutes (will puff up then sink). These are very chewy. They freeze well.
