1 c suit chopped fine
1c raisins
1 c brown sugar
1 c sour milk
1 tsp each of soda and cinnamon
2 c flour

Sauce for pudding
1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
2 c water
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the suit with the flour make as cake and steam 3 hours.Sauce: Place butter and sugar in skillet and brown,but do not scorch. Then pour in your 2 c water. Mix smooth; 1 large T or more of flour and cook until thick and smooth.. Don't have sugar butter mixture too hot when you had water. If the water is warm it will not hardin so bad.
