Cake:
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. oil
2 c.canned pumpkin
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Frosting:
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese
1 1lb. box powdered sugar
2 T. vanilla

Cake:
Combine all cake ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat with electric mixer until thoroughly blended. Pour batter into a buttered and floured 13x9 pan. Bake at 350º for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool. This cake freezes well.

Frosting:
Combine frosting ingredients in a mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Spread on cooled cake.
