When you go to a restaurant ask for a box when you order your meal. They might look at you odd, but having a box available when your order comes out is handy for cutting your meal in 1/2 and placing it to the side right away. Now that whole amount of your order isn't staring at you while you are trying to hold back from eating it all. And, who doesn't love leftovers???? Another way would be to share one plate with your guest.
