2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1 egg 2 Tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla
Combine liquids and cream together. Add dry ingredients. Roll into balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet and press slightly with bottom of a cup with shortening on it. Bake at 400º for 5 minutes. Do not brown.
