3/4 c butter
3/4 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 c rolled oats
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture a little at a time. Blend in oats. ( dough will be stiff) Shape dough into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press a hallow into center of each cookie using your thumb. Fill with jam Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 min.
