4 c sifted flour 1 lb butter 1 tsp baking powder 1 1/2 c sifted icing sugar
Sift flour and baking powder. Cream butter and add icing sugar combine well. Work in dry ingredients with hands until smooth. Wrap in wax paper and chill for 2 hrs. cut into shapes. Bake in slow oven 325º until lightly brown.
