2 lbs ground lean meat
4 - 5 pieces bread torn into pieces, soak in a cup with milk to soften
2 scant t of salt
1/4 t pepper
1/2 - 1 t garlic powder
1 t thyme
1/2 c tomato sauce or ketchup
2 eggs beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together thoroughly. Place in loaf pan or in a pan and shape into a loaf. Mix about 1/4 c ketchup, brown sugar and Worchestershire sauce to taste. Place mixture on top of meat, then add 3 or 4 slices of bacon on top if desired. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour or until done.
