14 c butter or margarine
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1 ½ c flour
1 t baking powder
1/8 t salt
1 ½ cups mashed bananas
1 c sour cream
½ c chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat for 1 ½ minutes. Combine flour, baking soda and salt and add to creamed mixture. Stir in bananas, sour cream and nuts and mix well.
Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake 1 hour or until done. Makes 1 loaf.
The sour cream makes this a moist bread.
