1 c. Krusteaz Pancake mix
1/2 or more cups amber beer,
2 pinches dill
1 pinch Lawry's Seasoned salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the halibut into 1 to 2 in.chunks or use whole halibut cheeks. Dip them in the batter, then roll in panko flakes (Japanese-style breadcrumbs --- Cub Foods). Place the battered chunks on waxed paper on a tray in the freezer until thoroughly frozen. Double bag it in sealed plastic until mealtime. Then deep fry.

(Open the beer a few hours or more before you use it for this recipe.)
