4 cup apples, coarsely chopped 2 cup sugar 2 eggs 1/2 veg oil 2 T vanilla 2 cup flour 2 tsp soda 2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp salt Topping: 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 Tbsp flour 1 cup water 1/2 stick butter
Combine apples and sugar and let set. Beat eggs slightly. Beat in oil and van. Mix and sift dry ingredients with apples. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Topping: Mix and cook till thick. Serve on warm cake.
