1 Whole Frozen Turkey 12-16 or 19-22 lbs
1/4 C Oil, 1 T Thyme and 2 T of Salt

For Cranberries:
12 oz bag of fresh cranberries
1 C Water
8 oz can Crushed Pineapple undrained
3 oz pkg Cranberry, Cherry or Raspberry Jello

For Candied Yams:
3-4 Deep Orange Yams
1/2 C Brown Sugar
1/2 C Butter or Margarine
2 C Walnuts
1/4 tsp Salt

For Stuffing:
6 Slices of Sprouted Grain or Gluten Free Bread
Turkey Liver chopped fine
1/2 C Butter or Margarine
1 Onion chopped coarsely
2-4 Inner Celery Stalks chopped
1 soft Apple coarsely chopped
Sage, thyme, marjoram or Poultry Seasoning
1/2 tsp Salt

For Fresh Kale Salad:
1/4 C of Currants or Raisins
1 Bunch of Kale
7 T of Balsamic Vinegar divided
1 T Rice Vinegar
2 T Olive Oil
1 1/2 T Honey
1 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Pepper
1/4 C Pine Nuts or quartered Walnuts

For Fruit Salad:
4 Apples
2 large Bananas
15-22 oz can Mandarin Oranges drained
8 oz Extra Creamy Cool Whip or Whipping Cream

For Sparkling Cranberry Beverage:
Mix equal parts of Club Soda with a Cranberrry Grape Juice blend free of corn syrup sweetner

Opt: Turkey Gravy and Mashed Potatoes

Directions:
Unthaw turkey in refrigerator according to package directions (3-5 days). Saving liver, remove wrapper and clean out both ends of turkey. Divide weight of turkey by 4 to determine cooking time. Combine oil, salt and thyme in bowl then rub it over the tureky with your hands. Place turkey in Fool-Proof cooking bag, roasting pan with sides at least 2 inches high, or place breast side up on rack and cover with foil. Do not add water. Bake at 350 for 2/3 of the determined cooking time. Using large knife begin to cut thigh and leg from breast so dark meat gets done before the breast is dry. Thigh should reach 180 degrees without thermometer touching bone and breast should reach 170 degrees. When done let sit 15 minutes before removing leg and thigh and wings. Cut breast meat parallel to the breast bone.

For Cranberries:
Check cranberries for debris or any spoiled ones. Cook good cranberries with 1 cup water on med heat till cranberries start to pop open. Add package of jello and stir 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in crushed pineapple and its juice.Chill overnight.

For Fruit Salad: Place drained mandarin oranges in large serving bowl. Cut apples in small or tiny cubes and add to bowl. Add sliced bananas and Cool Whip. Mix and refrigerate uncovered till dinner time.

Buy a turkey that fits your roasting pan or turkey roaster. Avoid buying a 17 or 18 lb turkey and look for breast meat that bulges above the bone.
