3 lge baking apples, peeled & sliced
3/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 c apple cider
1 tblsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 c butter or margarine
1/2 c walnuts or raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in a greased 1 quart baking dish.
Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and apple cider.
Pour over apples
Dot w/butter. Sprinkle with nuts or raisins.
Bake, uncovered at 350 for 45-60 minutes
Serve warm over ice cream
