1 Whole turkey
Paul Prudhomme’s Poultry Seasoning
Butter or Spray Pam

Thoroughly clean turkey.

Rub butter all over turkey or spray “Pam” all over the turkey.

Sprinkle Paul Prudhomme’s Poultry Seasoning liberally all over turkey, inside and out.

Cover wing tips and ends of drum sticks with foil.

Preheat oven to 500 degrees.

Cook turkey for 12 minutes at 500 degrees (make sure skin is seared).

Turn down to 225 degrees and cook for 5-6 hours depending on weight of turkey. (Inside temperature should be 165 degrees using meat thermometer).

1 hour before turkey is done, take off foil paper.
