Filling: 4 cups apples 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup nuts, divided, 1/2 on top 1/2 tsp cinnamon Combine. Butter bottom of 13 x 9 cake pan. Pour filling in cake pan. Topping: 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1/2 cup butter 1 egg
Combine ingredients for topping. Spread topping on top of apple mixture. Top with nuts. Bake at 325º for 50 minutes
