3-4 pounds round steak, carefully trimmed and cut in strips.
flour, salt, and pepper
1/2 cup butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large onion, chopped
1 1/2 lbs. fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup red wine
2 cans mushroom soup
4 oz. chopped pimiento
1 pint sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Shake meat with flour, salt, and pepper. Brown in butter and set aside. Saute garlic, onion and mushrooms until soft. Add water, wine and soup. Return meat to sauce. Mix well. (May be frozen at this point.) Add sour cream and pimiento. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
