2 cans whole water chestnuts 1 lb bacon strips cut in halves 1 cup ketchup 1 cup sugar
Wrap water chestnuts with pieces of bacon and secure with toothpicks. Place in glass baking dish in single layer. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes; drain. Mix ketchup and sugar well. Pour over hot water chestnuts and bake 30 minutes more. Serve hot
