2 c unsifted all purpose flour.
1 tsp sugar.
1 tsp salt.
generous 3/4 c shortening. I use Crisco.
1 tbsp white vinegar.
1 small to medium egg.
1/4 c water.

Directions:
Directions:
Place dry ingredients and shortening in a large bowl and mix until crumbly. (I use a hand mixer).
Place liquid ingredients in a small bowl, beat together with a fork. Combine the two mixtures and mix until just moistened. Divide dough and roll out on floured wax paper. Dough will be soft. Makes 1 double pie crust and 1 single crust. Dough may be frozen.
