1 c. Flour
1 c. Yellow Corn Meal
2 tbsp. Barbecue Rub (your favorite powdered)
1/4 c. Prepared Yellow Mustard
2 tbsp. Beer
1 Medium Jar 8 - 12 ozs. Dill Pickle Slices
Oil, for frying

Heat oil in deep fryer to 350% In a wide flat pan mix dry ingredients together. In a small bowl mix mustard and beer. Use your fingers to dip pickle slices in the mustard & beer mixture & then in the flour mixture. Use tongs to slip the battered pickle slices into the hot oil. Fry until batter is brown. They will float to the top when done. Remove from oil with tongs and drain on paper towels.

Sliced pickles should be at least 1/8" thick or buy whole pickles and slice them yourself. Kids love them!!!
